Refuge from the Storm
"And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain." Isaiah 4:6
The world in which we live can sometimes seem like a storm. It is continually becoming stronger, and can at times feel cold and harsh.
One way we can find shelter and escape the troubles that we face is by going to the temple.
The House of the Lord can stand against anything. It is there for us as a "Refuge from the Storm."

Lillies of the Field
Scripture: Matthew 6:25-33
The Lord knows each one of our needs. Do we trust him in all things, or are we of little faith? In the Joseph Smith Translation of Matthew 6:33 it says "Wherefore, seek not the things of this world but seek ye first to build up the kingdom of God, and to establish his righteousness..." If we are seeking first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, then the Lord will bless us with everything that we need.
The Lord takes care of the "Lilies of the Field," and he will take care of us.
